Maharaj Baba Sai of  Shirdi dropped His body.

Punyatithhi Programme

Morning 11 am onwards ( Maybe till 1 or 2 pm):- Distribution of food to the poor and animals ( stray cows, dogs and birds) individually at each one’s convenience in one’s own area or collectively in a group.

Afternoon post lunch 2 pm to 4 pm:- Volunteers to assemble at the venue for set up and preparations as per responsibilities assigned.

Evening 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm as per details given below:-  

1) 4.30 – 5.30 pm:- Silent hour, for those who want to spend a personal quiet time chanting His name mentally or have a personal chat with Him. 

2) 5.30 to 7.30 pm:- Puja, aarti and bhajans. 

3) 7.45 to 9.30 pm:- Prasaddaam and Langar. 

We request all of you to come with friends and family in large numbers so that as many as possible can receive Baba’s Love and blessings. 

 If you have interest in singing, playing a musical  instrument and wish to participate in the programme / or have other ideas to enliven the programme, please contact the prayers, bhajans, music and singing programme coordinator

We are catering for minimum of 100 people ( maybe more depending upon the response). All left over food will be distributed to the poor as usual.

We need to have accurate numbers well ahead of time, for planning organising and execution.

It is an excellent opportunity to express our love  and gratitude for Baba Sai of Shirdi for all the guidance, love and infinite compassion that we have received from Him and continue to receive. It is our THANKSGIVING DAY.

H) Winding up team. Volunteers are required who will stay till after the programme to help wind up.

Expected cost of the programme:-
Rs.35,000/- to meet the following expenses:
Hall rent and transport. 
Musicians and singers. 
Disposable items for distribution of prasaddam/ langar and caterers.
Decoration items and flowers.
Sound system.
Miscellaneous expenses. 
Payments to the helpers.

Apart from the above  at least 15 more volunteers are required:-

1.To come in early and help with the set up and also to decorate the altar.

2. Coordinating for the prasad.

3. Food arrangements and distribution.

4. Overall organisation.

5. Coordinating and setting up the decorations.

6. Setting up of the sound system.

7. Setting up Dias for the musicians and singers and help them carry and set up their with their equipments and seating.
